Konpuku-ji

Kifune Jinja Shrine

Walking along the 2 rows of red lanterns and stone staircases, here you will reach the torii and main building that is surrounded by red maple leaves. Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine

Here is good for couples who like cycling. Start from right side of Togetsukyo Bridge, ride through the road of Kyoto Prefecture Road No. 801 (Hudou 801), there is Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine. The route is about 20km, if worry of getting tired, you can start from Katsurari Kyu Shrine, it is more comfortable and shorter. As one of the biggest Hachiman Shrinezb, from Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine you can take the cable car to the Otokoyama. This mountain is famous for red leaves. Nearby the observation deck, there is a Zenporitsuji Temple is so-called “Maple Tree Temple”.
